Indika Kularatne is a passionate entrepreneur and the Managing Director of ITU Exotic Travels, driven by a long-standing interest in tourism and a vision to showcase meaningful travel experiences in Sri Lanka. His transition into the travel industry reflects his ambition to contribute to the country’s tourism sector by delivering reliable, personalised and memorable journeys for travellers.
A graduate of Curtin Business School in Perth, Indika holds a strong foundation in finance, business management and customer service. He began his career in retail banking at National Australia Bank before joining Westpac as a Small Business Manager. His outstanding performance in lending and wealth management earned him the prestigious Master Club Award on three occasions.
He later worked as a Mobile Lender for RAMS Australia, specialising in mortgage solutions and further strengthening his expertise in financial services, relationship management and business development. Today, Indika brings this extensive professional experience to ITU Exotic Travels, guiding the company with a strong commitment to service excellence, trusted partnerships and sustainable business growth within the tourism industry.

Thilak Seneviratne, widely recognized in the photography industry as Thilak Sen or Thisen, has been a prominent figure for over four decades. His expertise, versatility, and artistic vision have led to collaborations with prestigious brands and organizations worldwide. Currently, Thilak has embarked on a new chapter in his illustrious career by joining ITU Exotic Travels as Director of Business Development & Strategic Partnerships, bringing his entrepreneurial mindset, global network, and passion for tourism to Sri Lanka's travel industry.
Thilak's journey began as a photojournalist, capturing defining moments with precision and creativity. His exceptional talent led him to work as the official photographer for SriLankan Airlines (formerly Air Lanka), luxury hotels, and global production agencies. His expertise spans multiple photography genres, including aerial, commercial, fashion, and event photography, making him a sought-after professional for high-profile projects.
Upali Navindra Rajanetti
Director of Operations – ITU Exotic Travels
Upali Rajanetti is a seasoned professional in the travel trade with decades of experience in Sri Lanka’s tourism industry. His extensive expertise in sales, marketing, and promotions has positioned him as a key player in the country’s tourism sector. As the Director of Operations at ITU Exotic Travels, he brings a wealth of knowledge, international exposure, and a deep understanding of both inbound and outbound travel markets. Originally from Mount Lavinia, one of Sri Lanka’s most popular tourist destinations, Upali has been immersed in the hospitality and travel industry from a young age
Upali has spent over four decades in the travel and tourism sector, holding key roles in prominent travel companies in Sri Lanka. His career began at HEMTOURS (Pvt) Ltd, where he dedicated 20 years as the Sales & Marketing Manager. He then transitioned to HERITAGE EXPEDICIONES (Pvt) Ltd, where he served as the Manager of Promotions for 23 years, specializing in FIT (Free Independent Travelers) and GIT (Group Inclusive Tours) traffic from major international markets, including the USA, UK, Western and Eastern Europe, Australia, and India.
